Frog in a Pond
This is an engaging and delicious activity that can be modified for any primary age
group.
As part of an integrated lesson on the lifecycle of a frog, we made these 'Frog in a Pond' jelly cups.
When the jelly was half set, we dropped jelly frogs into it.
On another occasion, we made bowls of jelly, resembling a fish tank or pond.
The students thoroughly enjoyed making the jelly and wrote a procedure as part of
their work sample assessment for their portfolios.
