Display: Visual Timetable

I work in a school with a lot of specialist teachers and the students are always coming and going from their home room. To eliminate confusion, I created this magnetic visual timetable for display in our room. The students LOVE this; they know where they are meant to be and when.

I made and laminated the subject cards and used sticky-back magnetic tape so it would stick to my whiteboard. The magnetic aspect makes the timetabling more flexible, and easier for me to change it around if there are interruptions/changes to the routine.

It's bright, it's colourful and it's very effective!

You can find the editable labels here

  1. Good afternoon,
My boyfriend and I run a free teaching resources website called Early Learning HQ and we have a visual timetable here: http://www.earlylearninghq.org.uk/popular-resources/visual-timetable/

Maybe you can put a link to our website on your blog if you like our stuff. Are there any improvements you think we could make? We make it all in a very small team in Swansea and it would be nice to share it with some new people :).
    Thanks,
    Abby
