Always a favourite… The Classroom Shop.
When we learn about money during Maths, I always create a Fruit and Vegetable shop.
This activity is well received by students K-3 and is great for strengthing student's monetary calculations.
I purchased baskets of plastic fruit and veg for $1/basket from Big W.
The plastic coins and notes were from a junk shop, but I laminated the notes so they would last longer.
